On September 28th, 2025, the Alpha Delta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was chartered under the leadership of Great Lakes Region Director, Gwendolyn L. Kirtley.  This day marked the beginning of our chapters commitment to sisterhood, service and impact within the Mon-Valley area of Pittsburgh, PA which includes neighborhoods such as Homestead, Penn Hills, Braddock, Rankin, Monroeville, McKees Rocks and surrounding areas.
Our chapter is a distinguished body of women committed to  intentionally uplifting and empower individuals and families through meaningful, community-centered initiatives. Through hands-on projects, strategic partnerships, and innovative programming, we actively address the evolving needs of our communities.  Each member of our chapter is dedicated to embodying our ethics and implementing programs that align with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®’s international initiatives and the goals of our Founders.
